加號和減號（「+」和「−」，合稱加減號），是用來表示正數和負數、加法與減法的數學符號。此組符號還因為各種相對其他事物的類似之處而被賦予了豐富的抽象含義。
歷史
十五世紀的歐洲，人們通常使用字母 P 和 M 作為加號和減號。[1][2]P 來自拉丁語 plus 的首字母，意為「更多」；M 來自拉丁語 minus 的首字母，意為「更少」。1494 年，盧卡·帕西奧利在威尼斯出版了自己的數學手冊，其中首次使用了 p̄ 和 m̄（帶橫線的 P 和 M）表示加減。[3]
加號 + 即拉丁語 et 的簡化，意為「與」，和符號 & 的來歷相似。[4]減號 − 則可能源自 m̄ 上的波浪號，也可能只是 m 的簡寫。[5]

Unicode 減號和等號同高同寬。在大部份字型，其亦和數字同寬，以利對位。
連字暨減號（hyphen-minus sign）是 ASCII 版本的減號，亦用作連字號（hyphen）。其通常較加號短，高度亦不同。當只能用 ASCII 的場合可用來取代減號。
