GOG.com（旧称Good Old Game）是一家提供电子游戏和电影的数字发行平台，它由GOG公司运营，母公司为CD Projekt。GOG公司的总部位于波兰华沙。[3]GOG.com通过无数字版权管理（DRM-free）的方式提供适用于Windows、OS X和Linux平台的电子游戏。在早期，GOG只发行年代较久的游戏，自2012年3月，它开始售卖较为新款的游戏。[4][5]
1994年Marcin Iwiński和Michał Kiciński创建了CD Projekt公司。他们最初从美国批发商原装进口游戏并在波兰出售。[6]2008年后期，CD Projekt推出了GOG.com。最初的目的是发行没有数字版权管理的经典游戏。[7]
历史
2017年6月22日，GOG.com加入了简体中文支持以及人民币结算。在结算方面，加入了支付宝、银联、微信支付支付方式[8]。
特色
GOG.com发行的数字商品（电子游戏或电影）可以从网络上购买和下载，而且这些商品没有数字版权管理（DRM）的限制，[9]，也就是说这些产品没有下载/安装次数的限制，用户可以把文件复制/安装到任意数量的电脑或其他设备上，并且不需要安装额外的客户端软件（例如Steam或Origin）就能使用这些产品。老游戏的价格通常在5或10美元之间，不时也有特价活动。部分较新的游戏价格较高。GOG.com的数字产品也可以以礼物兑换码的方式赠送给他人。[10]
GOG.com发行的游戏都是用Inno Setup打包成的，且对安装包进行了加密。后经玩家反对[11]，之后发行的游戏中取消了对安装包的加密。但部分早前发行的游戏（如刺客信条）的安装包仍被加密。
用户并不需要安装特别的客户端软件就能下载或执行游戏，[12]不过用户仍然可以使用下载管理（将被淘汰）[13]或GOG Galaxy客户端软件来下载产品。下载之后，用户可以把软件用在任何个人用途上，例如安装到多个设备，[14]不限次数的保存到任何个人的存储设备上，制作游戏模块或修改游戏文件；限制是用户不可再次贩售或分享产品。[15]软件的安装文件技术上来说是不依赖GOG.com上的账号就能使用的，不过根据GOG.com的EULA，产品是“授权使用的，而非贩售”的。[15]这种商业模型时常引起数字商品的所有权的疑问。[16]在欧盟，欧盟法庭主张版权持有者不能反对他人再次贩售已经购买的软件，依据针对首次贩售的版权穷竭法令，产品所有权在贩售时已经转移，因此这种“授权而非贩售”的EULA受到了质疑。[17][18][19][20][21]

Could this be the victory we need for a "gamer's bill of rights" ? DRM is an oft-cited acronym, and resonates negatively in the gaming community. The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled in favor of reselling downloaded games. Simply put, legally purchased and downloaded games will be treated like physical copies of the game, and consumers can then sell their 'used' game.
